Referral and Insurance

Insurance

Most medical insurance plans are accepted, including MaineCare and Medicare.

At the time of referral and prior to your first appointment, we will assist you in determining the coverage your insurance provides. If you are referred for evaluation or treatment, weKaren Brown will help with information about speech therapy & The Voice & Swallowing Center will contact your insurance company to make sure we have all the correct paperwork.

Karen Brown will assist you with your insurance and referral information. Most insurance companies recognize the value of our services and provide coverage.

Referral

Your physician will talk with you about what services will be most helpful. Any physician can make a referral for evaluation and treatment.

Please bring your insurance card to the appointment. Arriving 15 minutes early for your first appointment helps to complete additional paperwork requirements, such as permission and confidentiality forms.
