Coaching Speech pathologists at Waldo County General Hospital have experience and expertise working with teachers in preschool and public school settings. For more detailed information about how we coach (and our results!), click here.
Therapists utilize research-based coaching techniques to develop teacher instructional skills tailored specifically to the needs of children in the classroom.
Teacher coaching enables differentiated instruction to meet specific child Individual Education Plan (IEP) needs or to help support high performance Response to Intervention (RtI) classrooms required under federal law. Our coaching style develops strong partnerships with teachers. We join
in classroom activities to model activities, observe teaching practices
and provide authentic coaching feedback.
