Consultations

Risa & LaNae plan a training sessionSpeech language pathologists are available to provide additional evaluation, language literacy program support or consultation to families and educators throughout Maine.

Consultation might include:
  1. how to embed language literacy activities in a preschool setting,
  2. facilitating better language literacy learning in classroom environments, or
  3. evaluation of skills that may not be readily available in a local area.


Professional Development



Nathan, Jenn & Jessie present their coaching results at ASHA.Professional training workshops are available through the Speech Language Pathology Department and the Voice and Swallowing Center of Maine at Waldo County General Hospital.

Our therapists routinely provide local and national workshops on subjects including: language and learning disabilities, early literacy, classroom coaching, utilizing explicit embedded book sharing and leadership.
