Referral and Insurance Insurance Most medical insurance plans are accepted, including MaineCare & Medicare At the time of referral and before your first appointment, we will assist you in determining the coverage your insurance provides. If you are referred for evaluation or treatment, we will contact your insurance company to help determine any coverage limits. Karen Brown will assist you with insurance and referral information. Most insurance companies recognize the value of speech therapy services and provide coverage. Referral Your physician will talk with you about what services are best for your child and family. Any physician can make a referral for evaluation and treatment. Please bring your insurance card to the appointment. Arriving 15 minutes early for the first appointment is helpful in completing additional paperwork.
